The writings and subject matter of the past writings were intended to address the effects ego has on our cognitive processes, and as such, our perceptions of life. The individuality of experience and psychological development precludes the notion that “one size fits all.” The intention was never to describe the concepts put forth as “the way it is.” The fundamental intention was to offer a mirror to see aspects of personality hidden behind the camouflage of the ego’s belief systems. This was intended to provide an understanding of the emotional manifestation that, individually, was experienced or adopted as truth or reality. My suggestion was that these manifestations dictated actions and could be a source of behavior based on illusory perceptions. (how we think colors our universe)
This took on a much larger subject as the blog continued. Any time one approaches the concept of truth and reality, you are moved into the area of knowledge and this requires we constitute what knowledge is or under what conditions knowledge is accepted and defined as knowledge. This becomes an exercise for epistemologists rather than a blogger. This conundrum has been under consideration for the past month and has been/is a major constraint with the continuance of the subject and intent originally put forth.
We are transported into the analogous realm of philosophy. Reading Locke requires consideration of Kant, which moves us to consider Schopenhauer and William James surfaces with identification of Schiller and so forth and so on.
I have not completely solved the dilemma I find myself and I, therefore, ask for comments or solutions that will overcome the barriers I face .
